This is an AM Site Solutions certified course. This course is aimed at road sweeper operatives who do not currently hold a valid safety ticket.
Participants will gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and work ethic required to safely operate road sweepers. This training course ensures compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation.
Duration: 1/2 day.

- Road Sweeper Training Course Introduction
- Machine Introduction
- Site Safety and Awareness
- Health and Safety Legislation
- Daily Inspection
- Exclusion zones , sideway safety zones, GPR surveys, service drawings etc.
- Certification and testing of machine & attachments
- Associated hazards
- Manoeuvring of road sweepers in confined areas
- Communication and hand signals
- Safe operation
- Machine maintenance
Prerequisites:
- Candidates must be over 18 years of age
- Safe pass course completed
- Passport or Drivers License
- PPS Number
- Candidate Pack
- 1 Passport photo
- PPE(personal protective equipment), i.e. Hard Hat, High Vis Vest, Steel Toe Capped Boots, Gloves.
