AM Site Solutions Load Securement Course

AM Site Solutions will help you ensure workplace safety is prioritised with this Load Securement Awareness Training.  Improperly secured loads can pose a serious safety hazard, potentially resulting in injury or fatality. 

This course is a practical and theory based. It is aimed at operators who drive load lifting machinery. Participants will gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and work ethic required to safely secure loads. This training course ensures compliance with all statutory regulations.

Duration: 1/2 day.

Assessment: Theory and Practical Examination

Course Content

  • Course Introduction
  • Understanding Legislation
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Loading and Unloading procedures
  • The distribution of weight and it's effect on load stability
  • Risks of poor load securing
  • Types of restraints
  • Company Responsibility and Driver Responsibility

Prerequisites:

  • Candidates must be over 18 years of age
  • Safe pass course completed
  • Passport or Drivers License 
  • PPS Number
  • Candidate Pack
  • 1 Passport photo
  • PPE(personal protective equipment), i.e. Hard Hat, High Vis Vest, Steel Toe Capped Boots, Gloves.

Certification:
On successful completion of the AMSS Load Securement and Safety training participants will be issued with a AM Site Solution Training Card that is valid for 3 years.
