AM Site Solutions Abrasive Wheels Safety & Awareness Course
This is a AMSS course delivered by a certified course provider. This course is aimed at anyone who uses abrasive wheels in their work environment and who does not currently hold a valid safety ticket.
Participants will gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and work ethic required to safely operate abrasive wheels in the work environment. This training course ensures compliance with all statutory regulations.

Course Content
Introduction to Abrasive Wheels
Understanding Law / Health & Safety Legislation
Identify the main types of abrasive wheels and their equipment, and will understand the hazards and risks associated with them
Safe use of abrasive wheels
Methods of storage, handling and transporting abrasive wheels
Methods of dressing abrasive wheels
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Good handling techniques & practice
Good housekeeping

Certification: On successful completion of the AMSS Abrasive Wheels course Participants will be issued with a AM Site Solution Training Card that is valid for 3 years valid for 3 years.
